The American Victory is available for private events as a unique venue.  Hold your corporate or private event aboard this historic icon of our nations Maritime history. We would be happy to host your event aboard our historic 1945 WWII merchant ship, one of only four in the United States that is still operational.

The AMERICAN VICTORY is berthed behind the Florida State Aquarium, immediately adjacent to the shops and restaurant's of Tampa's Channelside District.  The Tampa Convention Center and it's surrounding hotels are a short walk just to the west of us.

• The ship is available from 5:30 p.m. to midnight.
• A deposit of $250.00 reserves your date.
• Guests are welcome in spaces normally open to the public: all weather decks, the bridge, the cabin deck (formerly officers' quarters), and several of the cargo holds below decks.  Please be aware that none of these spaces are air conditioned.
• Due to U.S. Coast Guard regulations and insurance requirements, kitchen and catering facilities are not available. Private catering can be arranged by you.
• The AMERICAN VICTORY is an authentic, working ship.  Although conditions are a bit Spartan, most guests find that this authenticity adds to the unique character of the vessel.
• The SS American Victory does not have handicap access. All guests must be able to walk up stairs unaided.

Small events like children or adult birthday parties, with 25 or less people can be held during normal ships hours for $35 plus $6 per person.  This includes full access to the ship, a guided tour of the ship for your group, and a sheltered area where you can set up to hold your party.  Kids are treated to the American Victory ringing their age on the ships bell. Please allow at least two weeks notice in scheduling your small party.
