Help the American Victory Sail Again!
In commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor, the American Victory has a goal of cruising Tampa Bay once again this December!
We need your help to raise funds for the dry-docking expenses and repairs to make her sea-worthy for this monumental cruise.
We have started a crowdfunding campaign and our goal is to raise $250,000 by July 15, 2016. That's right … July 15, 2016. If this world-class Victory Ship could be built in 55 days, then with your help we can raise $250,000 by July 15th.

- Welcome aboard the American Victory Ship! As one of only 4 fully-operational WWII ships in the country, the American Victory Ship is a national treasure and true American icon. Anchor your place in American maritime history by experiencing an unforgettable voyage of discovery. Come aboard and witness virtually the entire ship including cavernous three-level cargo holds, radio and gyro rooms, hospital, galley, weaponry, steering stations, flying bridge, signaling equipment, wheelhouse, mess halls, crew cabins, lifeboats, the Captain's quarters, cargo equipment and the engine. Enjoy rare artifacts, exciting exhibits, uniforms, medals, documents and photographs. It's all right here throughout nine decks and our 455'x109' cargo vessel.
We are a world-class, shipboard, maritime museum dedicated to honoring the men and women who built, sailed, protected and provided service, worldwide, through the American Merchant Fleet since 1775 during times of peace and war. The American Victory Ship Mariners Museum endeavors to serve the community at large by preserving and interpreting maritime culture, folkways and the legacy of maritime industry through engaging youth and sharing a passion and understanding of the impact maritime industry on local, regional and national economies. We look forward to welcoming you aboard!
For thirteen terrifying days this Halloween season, the American Victory Ship will fall prey to the Chamber of Terror’s “Onslaught”—a suspenseful, horrific experience of murder and madness deep inside the hull of this authentic WWII merchant ship. For those who dare enter the ship, it will prove to be the most grisly, frightful nautical attraction that Florida has ever encountered.
